THE PODIUM RESIDENCES
Our vision was to create an iconic mall façade that inspires visitors through diversity, innovation, and modern design. The design emphasizes the “Park Mall” branding by highlighting greenery and visually connecting to the existing park atop the mall. Varied façade masses attract attention, define the main entrances, and create a dynamic street presence.
Leveraging the mall’s location between North and South 90th Street, the façade features a continuous rhythmic composition with openings that foster visual interaction between interior and exterior spaces. The overall approach is minimal and contemporary, focusing on functionality and clarity. Clean forms, simple materials, painted finishes with special effects, and black metal louvers enhance depth, shading, and elegance while reinforcing a strong, memorable architectural identity.
